MESIT joined Czech Aerospace and Defence Industry Mission to Germany
From 9–11 June, MESIT participated in a Czech business mission to Germany focused on the aerospace and defence sectors. Organised by CzechTrade, the mission included a visit to ILA Berlin 2026, one of the world's leading trade fairs for the aerospace and defence industries.
Bringing together companies, industry organisations, and technology leaders from around the globe, the mission provided an opportunity to exchange expertise, explore new business opportunities, and gain first-hand insight into the latest developments shaping the sector.
A key part of the programme was ILA Berlin 2026 exhibition, held at Berlin ExpoCenter Airport. This year's edition attracted more than 750 exhibitors from 37 countries and over 100,000 visitors, reaffirming its position as one of the industry's most important international meeting points.
For MESIT, the event offered a valuable opportunity to meet with existing and prospective partners, discuss emerging market requirements, and explore new opportunities for cooperation in the fields of aerospace, defence, and space technologies.
The mission also brought together representatives of Czech companies and organisations active across the aerospace and defence industries, highlighting the strength and capabilities of the Czech industrial base on the international stage.
